Hashish documentary film on hascisc production in Morocco
Haschisch (2002) A small village high up in the mountains of Ketama, north of Morocco. People’s lives here have been influenced by hashish for centuries. Hashish as a daily work, hashish as a good barter, hashish as business, hashish as a base and the philosophy of a social system, hashish as a means of dreams and hashish as the reason for stagnation. The film traces a portrait of this life: a look at work and everyday life in the family; Music and landscape as a metaphysical projection surface, the drug, the search for freedom, and the focal point of the film, man himself.
